Michael Malul is a premium fragrance brand looking to level up the video assets of their products. Many of their fragrances were missing video, so they were looking for a reliable video team to produce a high-level commercial for their Ocean Noir fragrance.
MISSION
OUTCOME
We created a dynamic fragrance commercial that captivates the audience while reflecting the brand’s
personality. With the theme of the ocean, we produced a video that builds in intensity and washes over the viewer like a wave.
PRODUCTION
Using custom built sets at our studio, we filmed the product like like we at the ocean itself. Like a calm before the storm, we had the product float on a body of water, then built the crescendo with pouring waterfalls, ultimately climaxing with a momentous wave. All of this was filmed with a high-speed camera to capture the beautiful movements of the water.
RESULTS
The final commercial blends stunning product shots in our studio with real life footage of ocean waves. With precise color grading and sound design, we made sure that the different scenes would flow together seamlessly. The video assets we created are now being used by Michael Malul on their marketing channels to draw in new attention.
